STUDENT PARLIAMENT VISITING THE PRESIDENT DZUNIC

President of Palilula Municipality Boban Džunić, received the delegation of the Student Parliament of Primary School "Bubanjski Heroji'. They wanted to learn about the work of the Municipality in which territory is their school.

"My friends have expressed interest to establish cooperation with the local community, to meet the president and the work of Palilula Municipality, said the student Ljiljana Petrovic, president of Students 'Parliament. We have proposed to the president the agenda of the meeting, one of the questions was to establish cooperation with the school from another city with the help of the Municipality of Paliliula. Our proposal was accepted and today we are the guests of President Džunić. The school headmaster Verica Radenkovic, stated that these "parliamentarians" constantly have some ideas that successfully practice it. So they voluntarily decided to join the humanitarian action "Čepening" in support of the people with disabilities. Elementary school Bubanjski heroes, as estimated by the Ministry of Education and the Institute for value quality, ranks in the top ten schools in Serbia.

President of Palilula Boban Džunić, promised to support the initiative of students to cooperate with the appropriate school in another city or even abroad, and thus, be ambassadors of Nis Palilula. He explained the work of one city municipality and stressed the good cooperation with all educational institutions in the Municipality. He particularly emphasized the participation of pupils in project activities of the Municipality within the IPA program "Cross-border cooperation" Bulgaria-Serbia in the field of ecology, culture, sports, social and humanitarian activities. Our Youth Office is open to all youth initiatives through project activities and the EU's support we provide a number of infrastructure facilities for our young people in the field of sports, stressed Džunić. Representatives of the Students' Parliament of school "Bubanjski Heroji" visited the Head of administration of municipality, communal and inspection service, Department of Legal and General Affairs, Department of Affairs Office of the President, the Service Centre of the Municipality.

Student Parliament is legally guaranteed formal institution that allows students a democratic way of association to represent the interests of all students in the school, as well as the participation of students in making appropriate decisions. Activities and actions organized by the student parliament make life meaningful in the local community. Cooperation with students' parliaments, local community better meets the needs and problems of children and youth. It is within the "Children week," Palilula did in the best way.
